At OMAG, our longstanding experience working in partnership with leading multinationals in the food sector, such as Kraft, Nestlè, Unilever and Ferrero, have allowed us to acquire the knowhow to design and manufacture packaging machines for the pharmaceutical and nutritional sectors over the past ten years.
In fact, the vitality of the food industry has allowed us to mature the right type of experience on a technical level, as well as encompass its continuously evolving dynamic nature on an organizational scale. Today, the pharmaceutical industry too is always on the lookout for new products and new solutions, attentive to marketing and innovative ideas, with increasingly ingenious forms of packaging. This evolution requires ongoing research into packaging machinery designed to employ innovative filling systems that are still not commonly use in the pharmaceutical sector.
The very same machinery for which OMAG boasts years of expertise: auger fillers, which are widely adopted in the food industry and have only recently appeared in the pharmaceutical sector – we’ve been building them for over thirty years.
OMAG prefers to welcome customers at its seaside production facilities in Italy, not only because it gives us the chance to explain our technology and describe our range of products, but to examine our customers’ URS in detail, and above all, to place our machinery at your disposal: products provided by customers allow us to run precision filling and sealing tests, accurately inspecting tolerances to come up with the best solution designed to provide a definitive guarantee of production efficiency in the future.
OMAG offers customers a variety of services, especially in the pharmaceutical sector:

- the use of electronics allows for quick automated format changes, as well as reducing the probability of maintenance, since its proven track record improves the machine’s overall operation;

- from our production facilities, we can establish a remote connection with machinery installed anywhere in the world, obtaining immediate and complete operating diagnostics for motors and electronics;

- on request, documentation can be completed with IQ/OQ validation protocols, in different versions and in accordance with GAMP guidelines; our expertise allows us to lend support to customers in verifying these documents.
