Omag S.p.A. is engaged in the design and manufacture of packaging machines for planting seeds and packaging for seeds.
Omag also manufactures the packaging for planting seeds and creates “seedsaver” packages with the use of ad hoc machineries that can also work in line between one another.
We’re talking about the “C3/1” model for packages that are heat sealed on 4 sides and the “CG01” model for prefabricated packs.
The two packaging machines can also work combined between one another and form a compact and state-of-the-art device, guaranteeing wholeness of even prized seeds.
Particularly, the C3/1 packaging machine produces packages sealed on 4 sides. These packages are then filled with seeds and the machine loads them onto a combined belt that transports them to the CG01 packing machine. The packages with the seeds are then placed in the prefabricated packages collected from the storage bin of the CG01 machine.
This machine also automatically glues, seals and labels the final packages.
The two packaging machines for planting seeds, C3/1 and CG01 can also be used independently from one another and they can both be equipped with different types of measuring systems:
The C3/1 packaging machine for plating seeds uses winding packaging materials and is adjustable in packaging formats from 50 to 120 mm long and from 50 to 160 mm in wide. The production speed is based on the type of seed to be packaged, from 30 up to 80 cycles/minute.
The CG01 filling and sealing machine for flat packages, instead, uses prefabricated printed or neutral paper packs, with side folds or just plain flat ones.
This machine can also process packs with heat-sealed materials such as paper/polyethylene, paper/aluminium. Also in this case 80 to 130 mm long and 100 to 220 mm wide adjustable packages can be made. Production speed is up to 55 cycles/minute.
