The project developed for Klass Co.—one of Mexico’s leading manufacturers of powdered beverages, confectionery, and mass-market food products—was born precisely from this synergy between the Omag team and our local agent in Mexico, Huapaq.
The company needed to increase the flexibility of its plant to respond more quickly and efficiently to varying production demands.

Lack of flexibility: a problem to be solved.
The customer was already using a 5-lane packaging machine, but the system had a major limitation: poor format flexibility.
The requirement was to be able to produce sticks of different sizes based on current production needs, switching quickly from smaller to larger formats.
In addition to flexibility, the customer also encountered issues related to weight variability among the sticks and the quality of the sealings.
The challenge was therefore to find a reliable, versatile solution capable of ensuring rapid format changes without compromising quality and production efficiency.

To meet these requirements, we created a 6-lane stick pack machine with a auger filler, designed for packaging powdered beverages in sticks of 3 different widths.
